QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

What began as a lighthearted pastime has transformed into St. Louis’ premier doughnut destination. Vincent Van Doughnut began in 2013 when Vincent Brian Marsden introduced his infamous doughnuts and Clyde, the iconic 1960 Ford Grumman Olson step van and St. Louis’ first doughnut food truck.

As Vincent’s doughnut craft matured and grew, so did St. Louisan’s love for artisan doughnuts. Fate found him on 2015’s second season premiere of Cooking Channel’s Donut Showdown competition. His delectable doughnuts won him the $10,000 first place prize to open the Clayton shop (2015-2020) and ultimately, the Grove’s exclusive Vincent Van Doughnut that we all know and love today. Vincent Van Doughnut in the Grove opened on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2017 ❤︎.

On July 23, 2024, the man, the myth, the legend, and founder Vincent Brian Marsden sold the business to longtime employee, Michael McKinlay. Although the Vincent Brain Marsden era has come to end, fear not, Mike McKinlay is here to keep the doughnut demand alive and thriving for all the St. Louis doughnut lovers!
